Chapter Thirty-one

“Oh my god, it feels so weird to be back in the apartment.” Harper dropped her suitcase near the door before flopping onto the big bed in the master bedroom. “I missed this though.”

“Me too,” Pietr hummed, joining her. “So much more room to fuck around.” His hands went under the fabric and his lips found skin above the collar of her T-shirt.

“We just got home!” She laughed.

“Exactly. We have to reacclimate to the bigger bed,” he explained as though that was really a thing.

“Tanner and McKinley are coming over for dinner,” she reminded him. “Which means I have time for like twenty-minute nap before I start cooking.”

“We can order in.”

“They’re our friends. We can’t order in.”

“They are our friends,” he repeated. “We definitely can.”

“I promised Tanner—”

“Tanner is a big boy,” Pietr retorted. “He will understand if he has to wait a few days for a casserole or whatever shit it is he wants.”

“Baby,” Harper crooned. Her hands skirted up his back. “We just walked in the door. It hasn’t even been twelve hours since the last time...”

“That bullshit in the shower this morning doesn’t count,” Pietr scoffed. “I got a blow job and you got nothing.”

“Is that the problem? You feel we’re unequal?”

“We are definitely unequal. I make you cum at least three times.”

“Eh...”

He gasped, leaping up onto his knees and staring down at her. She started to reach for his shirt, but he caught her hands, pushing them above her head.

“You fake them?” He whispered.

“No, I don’t fake it!” She laughed.

“I don’t believe you,” he teased. “I won’t believe you until I give you one. And another, and another.”

Harper pulled her hands free to grab the front of his shirt. Pulled off balance, it was easy to wrap a leg around his hip and turn him over. Of course, Pietr didn’t resist either.

“Ah! Right where I like you best.” Pietr hooked his fingers into the loops on her jeans, rocking her against his cock.

“Let me up.” She tapped his hands.

He growled, grip tightening.

“Don’t give me that grumpy bear growl.” She tapped a little harder. “You had me to yourself for almost three months.” She leaned forward, kissing him softly. “Or, mostly to yourself. Brief sharing interludes were had. But, we’re back home. In reality. You have your first practice tomorrow, plus that photo-shoot and your physical. I have a lunch meeting with my publisher and I told Bex I’d help her with painting their kitchen. Or, wrangle the kids so she can do it herself.”

“So what?”

“So, you’re gonna have to get used to holding it in, Ivanov.” She patted his firm stomach. “Starting tonight.”

His fingers loosened and his hands fell limply to his sides. “I don’t want to. Start tomorrow. Will be too tired after practice anyway.” He gave her a pouty face and stroked his hands up her thighs. “C’mon...”

She smiled, leaning forward to kiss him. “We’ll kick Tanner and Kinley out as soon as we’re done with dessert,” she promised. “We’re going to bed early. Five AM is going to be here before you know it.
